Weffer Ricardo is a seasoned legal and compliance professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Group Ethics and Compliance Head at Al Dahra since July 2023, Weffer has held senior compliance roles at BRF, where responsibilities included managing international markets compliance from January 2020 to July 2023. Prior to this, Weffer worked with A.P. Moller - Maersk, progressing from Senior Compliance Manager for the Middle East and Africa to Head of Legal and Compliance for the IMEA region. Weffer's previous experience includes a Legal & Compliance Manager position at Philip Morris International, where advisement covered corporate law and public risk management in the GCC region, as well as positions at BNC Banco Nacional de Credito, The AES Corporation, and a law firm in Venezuela. Weffer Ricardo holds a Bachelor in Law and a Master of Laws in Commerce Law from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
