Dr. Ehtesham Abbasi is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in accounting and finance. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Al Akhawayn University since January 2022 and as a Faculty Fellow at the American Higher Education Alliance since January 2023, Dr. Abbasi also holds the position of Economist and Associate Editor for the International Journal of Green Economics at the Green Economics Institute since June 2017. Previous roles include Assistant Professor of Accounting at King AbdulAziz University and at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, as well as a teaching position at Aligarh Muslim University, where Dr. Abbasi completed a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance. Educational qualifications include ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Sustainable Urban Development at the University of Oxford, alongside previous degrees in Finance and Commerce from Aligarh Muslim University.
