Marleen van Asten is an experienced Internal Audit Manager with a strong background in audit and accountancy. Currently, Marleen holds the position of Internal Audit Manager at Timber and Building Supplies Holland N.V since October 2021. Prior to this role, Marleen served as Internal Audit Manager at Athora Netherlands and VIVAT, demonstrating expertise in audit supervision at SNS REAAL and REAAL Verzekeringen. Marleen began the professional journey at Deloitte Accountants B.V., progressing through various roles including Supervisor and Senior Assistant. Marleen holds a Master's degree and a Postmaster in Accountancy from Nyenrode Business University, a Registered Accountant (RA) certification from NBA, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation from Isaca. Additionally, Marleen earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
