Manikantan Nair, Ph.D., is a senior chemist at AkzoNobel Coatings since October 2016, specializing in specialty coatings through research, development, and innovation. Prior experience includes serving as a scientist at OMNOVA Solutions from July 2014 to August 2016, focusing on new product and technology development, and as an R&D chemist at The Haartz Corporation from October 2010 to April 2014. Manikantan Nair also held positions as a lecturer and post-doctoral fellow at Missouri S&T from January 2009 to October 2010.
