Kurt De Ruwe is an accomplished Chief Information Officer with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the CIO at AkzoNobel since May 2022, Kurt has previously held leadership positions at Signify, Philips Lighting, and Bayer MaterialScience. Additionally, Kurt contributed as a member of the Curatorium for the Executive Master in IT-Auditing at TIAS School for Business and Society. With a robust background in global IT management, including roles as Global IT Director at Huntsman and development management at ICI Polyurethanes, Kurt has successfully led initiatives in supply chain optimization and ERP implementation. Kurt holds a Licenciaat degree in Quantitative Economics from the University of Antwerp.
