Rob Partridge has extensive work experience in the field of architecture and engineering. Rob began their career at Arup as a Structural Engineer in 1997 and worked there until 2004. In 2004, they joined AKT II as a Principal and Design Director. Rob also started working as a Visiting Lecturer at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in the same year and continued until 2014. In 2015, they became a Judge and Collaborator at New London Architecture and also joined the British Council for Offices as a Research Committee Member in 2016. In 2017, they took on the role of AJ100 Judge at the Architects' Journal. Most recently, in 2024, they became the RIBA Sustainability Advisor for RIBA London Awards at RIBA. Rob is also an NLA Expert Panel Member for Science, Tech & Innovation at New London Architecture.
Rob Partridge received their secondary education at Bromsgrove School from 1986 to 1993. Rob then went on to study at the University of Leeds from 1993 to 1997, where they earned an MEng with Distinction in Architectural Engineering. Additionally, in 1995 and 1996, they attended Penn State University for further studies in Architectural Engineering, also achieving an MEng with Distinction.
