Aprameya Kar's work experience begins in 2006 at Unitech Limited, where they worked as an Executive Architect. During this time, they focused on various commercial and residential projects in the NCR region, specializing in designing and developing unitised, stick, and cable truss cladding/curtain walling systems.
In 2008, Aprameya joined WSP in the UK as a Facade Engineer. Aprameya played a key role in the design and development of cladding systems for projects in the UK and the Middle East. Their responsibilities included concept design, scheme design, detail design, and construction documentation, as well as preparing fee proposals, technical specifications, and tender evaluations.
In 2014, Aprameya became an Associate at WSP in the UK, and in 2016, they transitioned to the role of Senior Facade Engineer. In these positions, they continued to contribute to the design and development of cladding systems while also taking on additional responsibilities such as competition presentations, environmental performance analysis, and on-site monitoring.
From 2016, Aprameya joined AKT II as an Associate, progressing to the role of Associate Director in 2019. Aprameya then assumed the position of Technical Director and finally Project Director.
Aprameya Kar completed their B.Arch degree in Architecture at Utkal University from 1998 to 2004. Aprameya then pursued an MSc in Facade Engineering at the University of Bath from 2004 to 2005. Aprameya also obtained a certification in Revit 2017 Essential Training: Architecture (Metric) from LinkedIn in 2017.
