Stephany Lopez, MSW has a diverse work experience in the social services field. Stephany started their career as a Family Support Specialist Intern at Children's Home Society of Washington in 2009, where they worked until June 2010. Stephany then interned as a Family Support Specialist at YMCA of Greater Seattle from September 2010 to July 2011. Following this, Stephany served as an Early Head Start Home-Based Intern at Children's Home Society of Washington from September 2011 to July 2012.
In 2012, Stephany joined Center for Human Services as a Family Support Specialist. Stephany held this position from August 2012 to December 2015.
Stephany returned to Children's Home Society of Washington in 2016, initially working as a Family Advocate at the North Seattle Family Resource Center from January 2016 to February 2019. From March 2019 to October 2022, they served as a Project Manager in the Office of Innovation. Currently, Stephany holds the role of Director of Learning and Development, which they started in April 2022.
Stephany Lopez obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a specialization in Children, Youth and Families from the University of Washington School of Social Work in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from the same institution in 2011. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also acquired certifications in areas such as Humble Leadership, Data-Driven Project Management, and Project Management Skills for Leaders through LinkedIn in the year 2022.
