Sanele Cingo is a Scientific Officer at the UCT Institute of Infectious Disease and Molecular Medicine since July 2023 and also serves as a Laboratory Technologist at Akili Labs from July 2021. Sanele's academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Biology from the University of Cape Town, completed in 2023, a Master's degree in Chemical Biology from the same institution in 2019, a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry from Rhodes University in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Rhodes University, earned in 2016.
