Andrew Thyng has a long and varied work experience. Andrew began their career in 2007 with the US Navy, where they held three roles, including Career Development Program Manager, Nuclear Operator, and Engineering Watch Supervisor. In 2015, they moved to Wagner Oil Company, where they held three roles, including Lead Production Analyst, Production Technician, and Engineering Technician. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Texas State University, holding two roles, Senior Programmer Analyst and Programmer Analyst II. Finally, in 2021, they began working at Akido Labs, where they currently hold two roles, Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer.
Andrew Thyng began their educational journey at the University of Maine, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics between 2002 and 2006. Andrew then attended the University of North Dakota, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Petroleum Engineering in 2016. Lastly, Andrew Thyng attended Arizona State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Software Engineering between 2016 and 2019. Additionally, Andrew Thyng obtained a Type 2 certification from the EPA in November 2012.
