Robert Israel is a Lead Principal Software Engineer at Akamai Technologies, where Robert leads the telemetry development team. Prior to their current role, Robert held positions at companies such as Google, Trustwave, Vericept Corporation, Level3/Genuity/GTE Internetworking, Wildfire Communications, Epoch Systems, Micom Interlan, Apollo Computer, and AT&T Bell Labs. With a degree in MS CS, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, Robert has a strong background in software architecture and development across various platforms and industries.
