Javier Garcia currently serves as Cloud Acquisition Vice President at Akamai Technologies, where responsibilities include developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for the Akamai Cloud in the AMER and EMEA regions. Prior to this role, Javier was the NA Regional Vice President at Fastly, leading multiple cloud computing hunting teams and overseeing the launch of a serverless cloud platform. At Edgecast, Javier held several positions, including AVP for North America and RVP for Latin America Sales, where efforts focused on successful product launches and go-to-market strategies. Additionally, Javier's experience includes leadership roles at Verizon Media and Verizon, recognized for sales achievements, and holding managerial positions at E-Z UP Point of Sales Software and Caravan Payment Software. Javier earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions from Cal State Fullerton.
