Furquan Amanat is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategy. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Akamai Technologies since April 2015, Furquan oversees a team of 30 in Reliability and Performance Engineering, focusing on security, performance, and network software solutions on a global scale. Prior to this role, Furquan was a Manager at Akamai, leading a team of 15 in enhancing the company's security and cloud offerings through Edge computing. Furquan's previous experience includes significant roles at Ernst and Young, Guidewire, Singtel Optus, and Accenture, where expertise was demonstrated in technology strategy, project management, and consulting across various sectors. Furquan holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master's in Information Technology from the University of Canberra, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of the Punjab, complemented by machine learning studies at Stanford University.
