Pyongwan Park is a distinguished academic and industry professional with a comprehensive background in mechanical engineering and automotive technology. Currently serving as a Visiting Professor at Ajou University since March 2022, Park previously held the position of President at Ajou Motor College from July 2018 to February 2022. Prior to this, Park contributed as a Board Member at Hankook Shell Oil Co., Ltd., and as a Research Professor in the mechanical engineering department at Ajou University. Park's extensive experience at General Motors from 1990 to 2015 included significant roles such as Vice President of Powertrain, overseeing various aspects of engine and electric vehicle components development, alongside responsibilities in manufacturing and program management. A Ph.D. graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Park’s expertise encompasses automotive technology trends and future innovations.
