Birgit Gehring has extensive experience in the biotechnology and healthcare sectors, currently serving as a Compliance Assistant at AJ Vaccines since January 2022. Previously, Birgit worked as a Process & Validation Specialist at CooperSurgical Fertility and Genomic Solutions from June 2008 to October 2021, where responsibilities included maintaining Validation Master Plans, coordinating validation tasks, and preparing pertinent documentation. Prior roles include Research Assistant positions at Dako, focused on molecular pathology and fluorescence microscopy, and at ALK Abelló, involved in hybridoma cell laboratory start-up and monoclonal antibody production. Early career experience at DTU National Veterinary Institute included virological diagnostics and immunofluorescence techniques. Birgit holds a degree in Laboratory Technology from Teknisk skole Slagelse.
