Valdes Tsakem has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2014, they worked as a Werkstudent at Klinken Automation Aachen. Valdes then became a Studentische Hilfskraft at the Institut für Hochspannungstechnik "IFHT" RWTH in 2015 and 2016. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Werkstudent Instandhaltung at Saint-Gobain. In 2021, Valdes joined AIXTRON SE as an Intern and later transitioned into the role of Master Thesis. Since March 2022, they have been working as a Software Engineer Automation at AIXTRON SE.

Valdes Tsakem earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Elektrotechnik, Eletronik und Kommunikationstechnik from RWTH Aachen University in the years 2012 to 2019. They then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Automatisierungstechnik from the same university, completing it from 2019 to 2022.
