Heikki Leskinen has worked in various roles since 2004, beginning as a Network Administrator at Savo Vocation College. In 2005, they joined IBM as a Software Development Team Lead and Team Leader. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Senior Consultant at Houston Inc. and from 2012 to 2016 they were a Java Developer at Kambi Sports Solutions. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Software Developer at iZettle and from 2018 to 2019 they were a Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Volvo Cars. In 2021, they joined Doublefin as a Back End Developer and in 2022 they began working at Aiven as an Engineering Manager.

Heikki Leskinen's education history includes graduating from Niinivaaran Lukio with a Matriculation Examination in 1995-2001 and completing a Software Development program at Joensuun yliopisto from 2001-2005.
