Salvatore La Torre has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at AITHO since October 2017. In this role, they developed the document management system EasyDoc for Banca Intesa Sanpaolo using JS, Java EE, Spring, JSP, Oracle SQL, and SOAP. Salvatore also worked on the Autobot system for MeridioNews. Prior to that, they worked as a Web Designer at SPEDIX Posta e Corrieri from January 2017 to July 2017.

Salvatore La Torre's education history begins with their time at ITIS G.Marconi Catania, where they pursued a degree in Informatica and obtained the degree of "Perito Informatico Abacus" from 2005 to 2010. Salvatore then moved on to Università di Catania, where they completed their Laurea triennale in Informatica from 2010 to 2017.

Following this, Salvatore La Torre continued their studies at Università di Catania and earned a Laurea Magistrale LM in Sistemi Reti e Sicurezza from 2017 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Salvatore La Torre has also obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they completed the "Corso Formazione Docker" at AITHO - Innovation, Solutions. In November 2019, they received certification in "Corso Sicurezza del Software e delle Architetture" from Corvallis. Most recently, in December 2021, Salvatore La Torre obtained the "Certificazione Scrum Master" from Scrum Alliance.
