Xiao Bao has been working in the tech industry since 2014. From 2014 to 2022, they worked for the State Grid Corporation of China, where they held various roles such as Power Repair Supervisor, Power Monitor, Customer Service Specialist, and Power Repairman. In 2022, they joined AirWorks as a Data Engineer, where they identified, designed, and implemented internal process improvements, built analytics tools, and worked with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues.

Xiao Bao received an Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology from China Three Gorges University between 2011 and 2014. Xiao then went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Information Science and Communication from the University of Arizona between 2018 and 2020. Most recently, Xiao Bao is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Analytics at Northeastern University, which they began in 2021.
