Bas Kentie serves as Senior Counsel for Commercial Legal in the EMEA region at Airwallex starting August 2024. Prior experience includes leading the legal and compliance functions at Sprinque from September 2022 to August 2024 and serving as Legal Counsel at Mollie from September 2021 to September 2022. Kentie's career also features significant roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as Senior Legal Counsel in Lending and Legal Officer in Commodities, alongside prior positions at Auckland UniServices Limited and Houthoff, where Kentie held various legal roles including Associate and Paralegal. Educational achievements include a Master of Laws in International Trade Law from the University of Cape Town and two Master's degrees in Private Law and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by a background in legal student associations.
