Leonard Byambara has extensive experience in the field of auditing, having worked for various companies in Uganda. Leonard is currently serving as the Head of Audit at Airtel Uganda since December 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Internal Audit at dfcu Bank from July 2016 to April 2021. Before joining dfcu Bank, they worked as an Audit Manager at Stanbic Bank Uganda from January 2011 to August 2011. Leonard also served as an Internal Auditor at Stanbic Bank Uganda from February 2002 to December 2010.

Leonard Byambara began their education in 1997 at Makerere University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Accounting. Leonard successfully completed their studies in 1999. Following this, from 2006 to 2009, Leonard attended MAT Uganda, where they pursued the ACCA program in Accounting.
