Geoff Hill

Jr. Installation Engineer at Airstrip Technologies

Geoff Hill has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Geoff began their career as a Computer Repair Technician at Computer Cafe from 2008 to 2011, where they troubleshooted end user PC issues and handled dial-up ISP user problems.

In 2014, Geoff joined NetMD and held multiple roles. As a Network Support Specialist, they managed and installed Cisco routers and switches, VMware servers, and Virtual Machines. Geoff also provided desktop support and Active Directory assistance to top-listed companies while training and assisting other NOC technicians. Later, as a Network Operations Manager at NetMD from 2018 to 2019, Geoff managed a team of NOC technicians, provided knowledge, assistance, and training, and served as an experienced escalation point for network and server issues. Geoff also communicated with clients and team members regarding current issues and policies.

From 2019 to 2022, Geoff worked at The ICEE Company as a Network Administrator, responsible for managing a 500-person Active Directory account environment, maintaining a call center cloud-based software suite, and managing and maintaining hardware and tablet environments. Geoff also monitored security alerts, responded to virus removal and prevention, and monitored and maintained various systems, including printers, remote sites, conference rooms, and firewalls.

Currently, Geoff is working at AirStrip as a Technical Support Specialist, starting in November 2022. Further details about their responsibilities and accomplishments in this role are not provided.

Geoff Hill obtained a Technical Degree with Honors in Information Technology from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Shelbyville, where they studied from 2011 to 2014.
