Madhura Gurav has worked in various roles in the geospatial data and GIS field since 2015. Madhura has worked as an Intern at Jet Airways in 2015, a Research Assistant at the Cartographic Modeling Lab at the University of Pennsylvania in 2017, an Intern at the United Nations Association of Greater Philadelphia in 2017, a Student Volunteer at the Global Water Alliance in 2017, an Engineer/ Environmental Intern at Arcadis in 2018, a Project Manager for the Access Mapping Project at the University of Pennsylvania in 2018, an Advisor for the Ucross High Plains Stewardship Initiative (Center at Yale F&ES) in 2020, a Data/ GIS Analyst at Greenstand in 2020, and a Geospatial Data Analyst at Airspace Link, Inc. in 2020.

Madhura Gurav has a diverse educational background. Madhura completed their Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai in 2016. Madhura then pursued a Master of Science in Applied Geosciences with a focus on Hydrogeology from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2018. In 2019, they completed a Master of Urban Spatial Analytics from the University of Pennsylvania.
