Girish Gopal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical services and operations management within the aviation sector. Currently serving as the Group Executive Technical Services and Solutions at Airports Company South Africa since May 2015, Girish previously held the position of Director of Operations at Aeroporto Internacional de Sao Paulo from June 2012 to July 2014. Girish's career at Airports Company South Africa began in February 2000, culminating in roles such as Assistant General Manager and Engineering and Maintenance Manager until May 2012. Earlier experience includes serving as Field Services Centre Manager at Eskom from November 1995 to January 2000. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Science in Engineering (MSc), and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSc), all obtained from the University of Cape Town, complemented by foundational education at South Peninsula Senior Secondary School.
