Joel Newbert is a finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as VP of Finance at Airbyte since April 2024, Newbert previously held the position of Head of Finance at CaptivateIQ from September 2022 to April 2024. Prior to that, leadership roles included Chief of Staff for Product & Growth at Gopuff, where a significant acquisition of rideOS occurred, and Director Strategy & Finance at rideOS, which transitioned to being a Gopuff company. Earlier in the career, Newbert worked at Silver Lake as a Principal and Senior Associate, and at Credit Suisse, where roles included Analyst and Summer Analyst. Educational qualifications include an HBA in Business from the Ivey Business School at Western University, obtained from 2006 to 2010, and attending St. Georges Secondary from 2001 to 2006.
