Katherine Pawson is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate General Counsel for Commercial, Competition, and Corporate (EMEA) at Airbnb since August 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing legal matters across commercial and competition law in the EMEA region. Prior to Airbnb, Katherine held the position of Legal Director and UK General Counsel at Yahoo from September 2011 to June 2016, along with previous roles as Senior Legal Counsel. Katherine's earlier experience includes serving as Head of Legal and Compliance at Media Ingenuity Group and as an Associate Solicitor at Baker & McKenzie, where legal training commenced. Katherine earned a B.A. (Hons) in Law from the University of Oxford and completed a Diploma in Legal Practice at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.
