Vikas Venu is a seasoned procurement professional with significant experience in managing procurement operations across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Procurement Manager at Air Products since December 2016, Vikas oversees procurement for the Kochi Industrial Gas Complex and India Corporate Services, focusing on stakeholder management to align procurement with organizational objectives. Prior to this role, Vikas was a Manager in Procurement at Larsen & Toubro from March 2008 to December 2016, where responsibilities included leading a 14-member procurement team and managing CAPEX expenditure. Vikas began the career as an Executive in Engineering at Apollo Tyres Ltd, from January 2005 to February 2008, specializing in plant equipment maintenance and engineering spares management. Vikas holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Operations Management from Symbiosis.
