Diana Vargas Avila has extensive experience in the field of engineering, specializing in automation, control systems, and smart manufacturing. Since joining Air Liquide in March 2010, Diana has held several key roles, including Team Lead for Capital Projects in Central Europe and International Expert in Smart Manufacturing and Data Analytics. Notable projects include the worldwide deployment of a Big Data application for hydrogen plant efficiency and the commissioning of a biodiesel plant. Prior to Air Liquide, Diana served as a Project Engineer at Lurgi, Inc. Diana holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Fachhochschule Darmstadt and a Diplom in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field from the same institution.
