Md. Jahidul Islam (Oyon) is a Lecturer of Law at Uttara University since December 2023 and has been serving as a Contributing Feature Writer at Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) since June 2018. Oyon held various roles including Secretary of The JULS Writing Club from October 2022 to October 2023, Managing Editor of JULS Law Review from November 2020 to May 2022, and Adjunct Researcher at the Bangladesh Institute of Legal Development from July 2020 to 2022. Previous experience also includes an internship at the Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST) and a leadership role as President of the NILS-JU Chapter from 2020 to 2021. Oyon earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law from Jahangirnagar University in 2023 and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the same institution in 2022. Additionally, Oyon participated in the 21st Human Rights Summer School in December 2022.
