Sofia Enström began their professional career as an au pair with Au Pair In America in 2012, where they lived with a host family and cared for their children. During this time, they improved their English skills and developed intercultural communication abilities.
In 2014, Sofia worked as a retail sales employee at ICA Supermarket Edsberg, where they gained customer service experience and also mentored junior colleagues, fostering teamwork skills.
Following this role, Sofia became a social media manager at Fröken Söt, where they were responsible for designing and developing social media channels. Sofia successfully utilized creative strategies on a tight budget, resulting in increased sales and wider reach for the company.
In 2016, Sofia took on a marketing internship at Equality Inc., where they contributed to various tasks remotely, including finding potential clients, assisting with graphic design, and increasing marketing opportunities.
That same year, Sofia joined UNICEF as a Vice Team Leader, participating in and coaching the F2F recruiting team. Sofia honed their ability to engage with and understand different types of individuals as a recruiter and coach.
In 2017, Sofia worked as a digital strategist and content creator at EdgeDNA. Their responsibilities included developing strategies, creating content, managing social media accounts for clients, coordinating cross-promotions, managing projects, writing blog posts and emails, organizing events, and supporting sales.
Also in 2017, Sofia joined Aimfor as a social media and content manager, specializing in e-commerce, fintech, and SaaS products. Here, they played a key role in helping companies improve customer experiences and increase online sales.
In 2018, Sofia worked as a freelance video editor, offering their expertise in this field until March 2020.
Sofia returned to Aimfor in 2019, this time as a senior content and operations manager. As the company's first-ever employee, they contributed to its growth and success. Their role involved working with diverse clients and fulfilling various needs, with particular emphasis on content creation, project leadership, and digital consulting.
Sofia Enström has a diverse education history that spans various fields of study. In 2022, they attended Biskops Arnö Författarskola for one year, focusing on Creative Writing. Additionally, in the same year, they briefly studied Creative Writing at Luleå University of Technology.
Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, Sofia pursued Literature at Stockholm University. In 2018, they attended Berghs School of Communication to gain skills in Web analysis and conversion. Before that, from 2015 to 2017, they completed an Associate's degree in Communication and Media Studies at Borough of Manhattan Community College.
In 2014, Sofia studied Creative Writing at Södertörn University. Lastly, from 2009 to 2012, they specialized in Social Sciences with a focus on law at Rudbeck - Valfrihetens Gymnasium, earning their degree in 2012.
In addition to their formal education, Sofia has obtained several certifications. In 2021, they completed the Google Search Ads certification through the Google Digital Academy (Skillshop). In 2020, they obtained the "Steg 1 - Att leda individer" certification from Tuff Ledarskapsträning AB and the Social Media certification from HubSpot Academy. In 2019, they earned certifications in Inbound and Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy and completed the UA Akademin Grundkurs certification from Unga Aktiesparare. Additionally, in 2020, they obtained the Social Marketing Certification from Hootsuite.
