Ali B. Alamin Dow is a Senior Principle Engineer at AIM Photonics since August 2023, with extensive experience in semiconductor technologies spanning over a decade. Previously, Ali served as a Senior Principle Process Engineer at Nex Gen PowerSystems, focusing on GaN transistors and PIN diodes. Prior roles include NTI Manager and Fab Staff Engineer at Duet Microelectronics LLC, Technical Staff Committee Member and Staff Fab Engineer at M/A-COM Technology Solutions, and management positions at MACOM involving product line and fab operations. Ali also held the position of Senior Principal MEMS Designer and Foundry Engineer at Teledyne DALSA and has experience as an Industrial Project Manager at the University of Toronto. The early career includes significant contributions at the Microsystems Centre Bremen-GmbH-MEMS Foundry and as a Scientist at the University of Bremen. Ali holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Semiconductor processing from the University of Bremen.
