Mitchell Brookins, Ph.D., serves as the Managing Director of the Science of Reading Network at Leading Educators and has held multiple roles related to education and instructional leadership. Current positions include Senior Director of Programming at Leading Educators, Instructional Leadership Coach at New Schools for New Orleans, Professional Learning Facilitator at Lexia Learning, and Integrated Literacy Facilitator at AIM Institute for Learning & Research. Previous experience encompasses roles as a School Administrator at InspireNOLA Charter Schools, ARISE Schools, and ReNEW Schools Charter Management Organization. Mitchell Brookins obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Illinois Wesleyan University, a Master of Arts in Teacher Leadership from Roosevelt University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration from the University of New Orleans.
