Jahangir Safarov is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Finance & Investments at AIH since September 2021, Jahangir has also held the position of Director of Finance and Head of Corporate Finance. In addition, Jahangir is a member of the Supervisory Board at SOCAR Downstream and contributes to the Strategy and Investment Committee at Tamiz Shahar (Clean City) OJSC. Prior experience includes managerial positions in business valuation and economics at PwC Austria and EY. Jahangir's background in energy derivatives began at Coral Energy as Hedging Manager. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Banking and Financial Management from Universität Liechtenstein, an exchange in Finance at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, a Master of Arts in Development Economics at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Baku State University.
