Pierre Phanor's work experience began in 1990 when they served as a Sergeant in the US Army until 1994. From 1997 to 2014, they worked at CEDA as a Family Service Worker, where they provided community resources to families, reported program data, and coordinated transportation services for a Head Start school. In 2014, they joined CDI Head Start as a Family Service Worker, where they enrolled families into the Head Start program, assessed eligibility, and collaborated with school districts. Since 2016, Pierre has been working at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago as a Research and Evaluation Assistant, assisting in research projects, administering surveys, managing focus groups, and performing data entry and cleaning tasks.
Pierre Phanor has a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago - Graduate College, which they obtained between 1994 and 1996. Pierre also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Sociology from Brigham Young University, which they earned from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Pierre has obtained several certifications, including Statistical Learning from Stanford Online (obtained in August 2015), Computer Networks from Coursera (obtained in March 2014), Machine Learning from Coursera (obtained in December 2013), Data Analysis from Coursera (obtained in March 2013), Network+ from CompTIA (obtained in October 2010), and LPIC-1 from the Linux Professional Institute (obtained in August 2014).
