Sanja Durekovic is an experienced professional in engineering management with a focus on the Oil and Gas industry and hydrogen field development. Currently serving at Aibel since October 2023, Sanja has also held a board member position at Tekna in the Oil and Gas sector since April 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Worley from February 2013 to October 2023, where Sanja worked as Engineering Manager and represented Norway in the European Works Council Special negotiation body. Previous positions include Senior Process and Mechanical Engineer at Bergen Group ASA, and various engineering roles at Energoprojekt Entel and GP "Planum" A.D. Sanja holds an Executive MBA from BI Norwegian Business School and a Master of Science in Thermal Power Engineering from the University of Belgrade, along with additional prestigious educational experiences at top institutions such as UC Berkeley, Hasso Plattner Institute, and Fudan University.
