Michael Smith has a diverse work experience starting in 1996 as an IT Technician at Loughborough Building Society. Michael then worked as an IT Manager at Earl Shilton Building Society, where they were responsible for the Society's computer systems. In 2001, they joined Pegasystems as a Senior Manager, eventually taking on roles as a Senior Technical System Architect and Technical Solutions Director. From 2018 to 2021, Michael served as the VP Service Assurance at Pegasystems, leading three core regions and providing technical guidance to customers. In 2021, they became the Chief Technology Officer at AI4Process, a consultancy focused on digital transformation. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated a strong commitment to technical excellence and customer success.
Michael Smith obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information and Computing from Loughborough University, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. Additionally, they have completed several certifications in various subjects such as Navigating Politics as a Senior Leader, Managing Globally, Improving Your Listening Skills, and Building Accountability Into Your Culture, all obtained from LinkedIn between 2019 and 2020.
