Vimbisai B. is a dedicated academic mentor and project manager with extensive experience in educational settings, currently serving as an Academic Strategies Mentor at Yale University since April 2023, where workshops support first and second-year FGLI students. In addition to mentoring, Vimbisai leads workshops for AI4ALL as a Project Manager, utilizing Python to assist students in Artificial Intelligence projects, while previously holding roles such as Residential Life Manager for Yale Young African Scholars and Tech Developer Intern at SEO, focusing on software engineering and technology training. Vimbisai has built community engagement through various roles, including as a Columbia University Chapter Lead for AI4ALL and has developed skills in data analysis, curriculum development, and project management. A current Yale University student pursuing a Bachelor's degree, Vimbisai's academic journey includes advanced French language studies in Paris and participation in programs aimed at fostering STEM research among students.
