Gregory Mamikunian is a geologist with experience in various research and teaching roles. At Scripps Institution of Oceanography, responsibilities included collecting and analyzing sedimentary core samples, interpreting data using specialized equipment, and studying foraminifera species. As a graduate teaching assistant at the University of California San Diego, Gregory taught earth science fundamentals to students. With a Master's degree in Geology/Earth Science, Gregory has a strong background in sediment transport processes and seismic history.
