Tanya McGregor serves as a Board Member at AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) since November 2023 and has held the position of Chief Aboriginal Health Officer and Director of Aboriginal Health at SA Health since February 2013. In these roles, Tanya provides executive leadership on Aboriginal health, advocates for improved health outcomes, and manages significant initiatives like Closing the Gap in Aboriginal Health. Previous roles include Acting Director and Manager of the Aboriginal Health Branch, with responsibilities encompassing strategic advice, policy reform, and community engagement. Tanya also contributes to the Fay Fuller Foundation as a Board Member and has served as Principal Advisor at the Department of Health South Australia, focusing on Aboriginal workforce strategies. Educationally, Tanya is pursuing advanced studies in Public Administration at Monash University and has completed a Master of Public Administration at ANZSOG.
