Pedro Magalhães has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Pedro started their career at the University of Minho/Portuguese Military Academy as an Invited Lecturer. Pedro then joined Wipro Limited, where they held various roles such as Junior Solutions Architect trainee, Project Engineer, IT Lead, and Industrialization Manager at Ahold Delhaize. Pedro'sresponsibilities included implementing Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle Retail systems, as well as cutover management for multiple releases. Later, they joined Ahold Delhaize directly, serving as the Store Rollout Industrialization Manager, responsible for a 7-year transformation program for the Etos brand. Pedro then progressed to roles such as Decommissioning Manager, Global Technical Lead, and Global Delivery Manager, before becoming the Director of Technology & Architecture Delivery in 2023.

Pedro Magalhães has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering and Science with a major in High-Tech Entrepreneurship and Solution Engineering and a minor in Management Control Systems from Politecnico di Milano, completed from 2010 to 2011. Pedro also obtained a Technological Entrepreneurship Specialization from TecMinho in 2010-2011 and a Master's degree in Information Systems' Engineering and Management from Universidade do Minho, without specifying the field of study, also in 2010-2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Technologies with a focus on Enterprise Management Systems from Universidade do Minho, completed from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, they have several certifications in various fields such as business strategy, software development methods, language proficiency, and retail management.
