Rachel Schratz, MA, is an experienced professional in digital content development and editing, currently serving as an Associate Digital Content Developer and Assistant Editor at AHIMA since August 2019. In addition, Rachel holds leadership positions as President and Vice President of Writers in Residence since May 2020. Previous experience includes various roles at John Carroll University, where Rachel contributed as a Graduate Assistant in the First Year Writing Program, Assistant Director of the Writing Center, and an instructor, among other positions. Earlier internships at Hospice of the Western Reserve, St. Clair Hospital, and Parker Hannifin further strengthened Rachel's writing and technical communication skills. Rachel's academic background includes a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from John Carroll University and an Editing Certificate from The University of Chicago Graham School.
