Pedro Perez

National Consultant at aha! Process

Pedro Perez is an accomplished National Consultant at aha! Process since July 2017 and a Project Director for the City of Albany Poverty Reduction Initiative, also starting in March 2017. As Co-Founder and President of DIASPRA since January 2015, Pedro promotes social justice and economic prosperity. Additionally, Pedro founded WaRyuShin Dojo in June 2009, serving as Head Instructor in HakkoRyu Jujutsu, and established MamboDragonArts Jazz in January 1997 as a percussion educator. Previous roles include Executive Director for My Brother's and Sister's Keeper (January 2016 - July 2017) and Albany YMCA (March 2012 - 2015), and a long tenure with the New York State Police, concluding as First Deputy Superintendent in September 2010. Pedro holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Marist College and Bachelor's degrees from SUNY Empire State College in Public Administration and Criminal Justice, alongside an Associate's degree in Human Services from F.H. LaGuardia Community College.
