Remote Sensing Scientist at Agronow Tecnologia

Denis Araujo Mariano is a Remote Sensing Scientist currently working at A de Agro since August 2020. Previously, Denis served as a researcher at Fundacao Cearense De Meteorologia E Recursos Hidricos, where the focus was on developing methodologies for mapping water bodies in Cear¨¢, Brazil. Denis earned a PhD in Natural Resources with a specialization in Climate Impacts and Assessment from the University of Nebraska¨CLincoln, and the dissertation centered on drought impacts in Brazil using remote sensing techniques. A master's degree in Remote Sensing was completed at Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais, with a dissertation on agricultural drought assessment through time series analysis. Practical experience includes internships in sugarcane production, remote sensing and geoprocessing, GIS analysis, and crop management, contributing to a strong foundation in agricultural engineering with a BSc from USP - Universidade de S?o Paulo.
