Romain Valleur has extensive experience in agricultural development and program management, currently serving as Chargé de programme Organisations paysannes et Filières at AVSF - Agronomes et Vétérinaires Sans Frontières since 2015. Responsibilities include providing strategic support and monitoring for producer organizations and certified supply chains, as well as developing local circuits. Earlier roles at AVSF involved strategic advisory and methodology support, management of fair trade initiatives, and coordination across various global regions, including Central America and West Africa. Romain Valleur also has project experience in enhancing capacities for economic organizations in the agricultural sector and technical assistance for educational programs in Cameroon. Academic credentials include a Master of Sciences in Ecological Agriculture from Wageningen University and a DESTOM specializing in tropical plant production from ISTOM.
