Valentina Gentili is a highly experienced professional in the lithium-ion battery field, currently serving as the VP of Global R&D at Agratas since January 2024. Prior to this role, Valentina worked at Jaguar Land Rover from August 2017 to January 2024, progressing from Senior Tech Specialist in Battery Collaborative Projects to Advanced Battery Technical Specialist. Valentina's extensive background includes a tenure as Principal Scientist at Johnson Matthey from May 2011 to July 2017, where a focus on advanced polymer electrolytes, nano-material synthesis for Li-ion cells, and the testing of commercial cells for electric and hybrid vehicle platforms was evident. Valentina also held a staff position at the University of St Andrews between August 2007 and April 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Luiss Business School, a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrochemistry and Solid State from the University of St Andrews, a Master of Science in Materials Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry from Sapienza Università di Roma.
