Roger Hale serves as the Chief Security Officer at Agora, Inc. since April 2022, where the company is recognized for its real-time engagement APIs and metaverse solutions. In addition to this role, Roger is an investor at SVCI - Silicon Valley CISO Investments since September 2019, a strategic advisor for frulu since February 2024, and has been actively contributing as an advisory board member for multiple organizations including Orca Security, Armature Systems, Inc., Blue Lava, Inc., and RiskRecon. Roger held the position of Chief Security Officer at BigID from February 2020 to March 2022, focusing on machine learning and data governance. Roger also worked as a venture advisor and CISO-in-residence at YL Ventures, which specializes in cybersecurity within the tech sector since June 2018 and manages $260 million in funding. Additionally, Roger has been serving as the Managing Director at Broakan LLC since November 2012.
