Vera Brenzel serves as the Director of Public Affairs and Communication at TenneT since 2020 and is a Member of the Supervisory Board for Equigy, a crowd balancing platform, since October 2023. Additionally, Vera holds a position as a board member at Wirtschaftsrat der CDU e.V. since January 2021 and is a member of the supervisory board at Agora Energiewende since June 2021. Vera has extensive experience in political affairs, having previously served as the Head of Political Affairs at E.ON from September 2013 to October 2020 and as the Head of the EU representative office at E.ON from January 2007 to August 2012. Earlier roles include Secretary of the Internal Market at Eurelectric and an expert position in DG External Relations at the EU Commission. Academic credentials include advanced European economic studies from the College of Europe and a Diplom-Kauffrau in business administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
