Jean-Claude Blais is a seasoned geology professional with extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as General Manager at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited since May 2007. Throughout the tenure at Agnico Eagle, Jean-Claude Blais has held various leadership roles, including General Superintendent for Mine Operations and Underground Operations as well as Geology, and also served as Senior Project Geologist, Production Geologist, and Project Geologist. Prior to this role, Jean-Claude Blais worked at Cambior/IamGOLD as a Junior Production and Exploration Geologist from May 2006 to May 2007. Jean-Claude Blais holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology/Earth Science from the Université du Québec à Montréal, earned between 2003 and 2006.
