Ramesh Mailvaganan BSc(Hons), ITIL, MBCS has a diverse and extensive work experience in the IT industry. Ramesh started their career in 1998 as an IT Analyst at British Energy Plc., where they provided 1st and 2nd line desktop support. Ramesh then moved to SCC on contract to British Airways Plc. in 2000, where they worked as a Systems Engineer, responsible for 2nd line desktop support for approximately 4000 users.
In 2008, Ramesh joined the City of London as a Senior IS Analyst, providing 2nd line support for users and leading the service desk team. Ramesh worked on various small to large scale IT projects during their time there. In 2013, they became the City of London Service Desk Manager.
Ramesh joined Agilisys in 2014 as the ELIT SD Support Manager, responsible for managing service desk teams for different partnerships. Ramesh specialized in service desk improvement and delivered key projects within budgets and time constraints. Ramesh then became the Service Level Manager for Agilisys London, focusing on SLA, KPI, and CPI performance management.
From 2016 to 2018, Ramesh served as the Head of Service Management at Agilisys, where they were responsible for the service management function across the organization and the development of key disciplines group-wide. Ramesh then became the Head of Overseas Operations, responsible for the delivery of all Agilisys IT services from the Mumbai Operations Centre to their UK based clients.
Currently, Ramesh is the Head of Data Services and Overseas Operations at Agilisys, where they are in charge of the delivery of multiple operational IT services to UK based clients. Ramesh'sresponsibilities include infrastructure monitoring, Azure environment monitoring and administration, application packaging, server and endpoint patching, security vulnerability remediation, systems support, and client reporting.
Throughout their career, Ramesh has gained expertise in various areas including IT service management, project management, and infrastructure support. Ramesh has proven leadership skills and a track record of delivering successful projects and driving service improvement initiatives.
Ramesh Mailvaganan obtained a BSc(Hons) degree in Business Information Technology from Solent University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.
