From age 14, Ms. Sheba Sthilaire began an early career dedicated to helping youths, especially those entangled in family and government issues. Thereof her work with H.A.C.A.D., her Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Florida International University (2004), her neighborhood resource coordinating for the non-profit Sant-La, and her Master’s degree in K-12 Education from Nova Southeastern University. In 2006, she founded her own non-profit, The Point at Jacksonville, an organization with a mission to empower struggling individuals and families. For the past 30 years, she remained a social activist who helps people find solutions to their problems instead of assigning blames to others. Currently, Ms. Sthilaire continues to wear multiple hats (secondary Math teacher, real estate broker, and recorded singer). She bears the responsibility in the saying, “Each one reach one; each one teach one, until all are taught.”
